Hey all, I have a Mavic Pro only used a few times, no crashes, now getting gimbal motor overload warning and no tilt control over gimbal.
Have checked threads here and it is sitting seemingly in the right position, tabs are all connected and above black plate, but it Knicks the chassis of the bird as it is calibrating.

Any suggestions?!?

Cheers!

I'm also having a gimbal overload error, however, my Mavic has crashed.
Everything seems to be working properly, although my gimbal does not move at all (not even on startup).
Any ideas as to what could be wrong? I've attached photos, hopefully something can be noted...

Here are the pics of my drone gimbal, although to look at it I cannot see anything out of place or damaged.Drone1.jpg Drone1.jpg Drone1.jpg Drone2.jpg Drone3.jpg Drone4.jpg Drone5.jpg

I don't see anything out of place on either drone... I would suggest reflashing the firmware through DJI assistant. If that doesn't solve the problem the best course of action is probably through DJI (unfortunately) =(

Other users have told me it is the ribbon cable, however, I'm slightly confused as to which ribbon cable they are referring to.

They are probably talking about the one that connects the gimbal to the main board - these seem to come loose easily (especially after a crash or large bump)

How do you re-flash the firmware?

Return it in for a repair, my was the same issue. I got the dji refresh care, return my mavic in for repairs due to gimbal overload. Will go to find out I got a repair bill for $244. I tried to email the repair center about using my refresh care instead of repairing my mavic and just replace it. Will 3 days went by, no reply so, I opt for the online chat and go to find out my mavic was cover under a warranty which I didn't have to pay for any repairs and they just replace my mavic for free and the process of returning fir repairs and getting a new mavic in my hands litterly took 1 weeks! !! Seriously! I got a new mavic and I'm back to flying in less than 1week. Thank you very much DJI.

Second picture. that yellow tab at bottom.. on mine when boxing it.. that was a tab for some clear film Procter. I removed mine. probably not your problem though.

This is a still image from my flight back in. Obviously gimbal was not straight.

Had the error and when i brought it to me, it was in a hover and i noticed the gimbal was tweeked a bit.. the small "bump or notch" at the bottom of the gimbal/camera was stuck to one side.

Landed turned it off redid a gimbal calibration and it did it again.

Took it home to take a closer look and it it looks fine so im gona redo all the imu, compass, gimbal resets tmrw and see what happens. I need this at the end of march so hopefully all will be okay.
