Going to take the FAA Part 107 Test, but had a question

I remember awhile back you had to register your Mavic with the FAA, then you didn't because of a court ruling.
But if I am going to use if for commercial, I would think that I would need to register the Mavic with the FAA??
Any info would be great.

Some real estate and some scenic for Youtube. Their is a conservancy in the area that is trying to save an area. I got asked to do some shooting there as well.
My background is stills, but the video the mavic shoots is pretty good, so I'm excited to learn that as well.
