Good morning Mavic pilots
This is my third instalment of my SST Tsimshian Warrior series. I have been following this tug since it arrived in Canada after being built in turkey
I finally had the chance to film her working. Although she was built primarily to escort and assist liquified propane tankers, she is more than happy to help out
her sister ships with other jobs.
If you stick around to the end of the video I finally have some good footage of her azimuth thrusters sending power in whatever direction is needed
I apologize in advance for my choice of music but will give bonus points to anyone that knows where that song is from

Please subscribe to my channel I am trying to reach 100 subscribers. And feel free to comment good or bad

Excellent footage @blackomega, but wow that music was excruciating!! I had to mute it to watch the rest of your excellent video.

If I had to guess, I'd say the music is from something the CIA used in Guantanamo Bay to extract information from enemy combatants. Am I close??

No. Old 80s computer game

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I would have guessed computer game.

I have to confess I am envious of the backyard you seem to have for flying. It has to be great being able to film freighters and tugs at work. I have always been a bit of a junkie for stuff like that. I just subscribed so I can watch more. Thanks very much for sharing (and sorry for the comment on music choice - it was intended in jest)....

Dont worry about the comment. I rolled the dice when I picked that song. It's from my childhood playing on the Commodore 64
Was just trying to not fall in the rut of the same type of song all the time
I use the youtube audio library mostly but always looking for a better source for "free" music that I can use.

On the plus side Im glad to hear you like my ship spotting videos. I plan to keep them coming. Im hoping the big yachts will start coming soon.
Problem there is catching them. I check my AIS receiver every morning and sometimes its too late and their tied up and i did not get a chance to film them underway
same problem with the container ships or freighters.

I started to watch but the horrible music hurt my ears so I couldn't turn it off fast enough

My take in this case would be no sound would have been a great improvement. Very nice video but not able to stomach the sound. Maybe you could consider a remake on the sound?

Sure. Any suggestions for a new song?
