Unfortunately as far as I understand these are completely different controllers one uses Wi-Fi to connect to the drone and one uses a earlier version of what is currently being used, it is referred to as O2 newer drones are using what is called o4. to my knowledge currently there is no way for you to use the controller from one on another, but I will look into it and get back to you as I myself have never owned either of these drones that's just what I can gather from the specs.@Nexus Dragoon : got this reply in gmail which did not show up in forum:
The DJI Mini 2 used a transmission system called OcuSync 2.0. The DJI Mini SE, however, was built using an older Enhanced Wi-Fi transmission system. Because these two systems "speak different languages," they cannot communicate with each other.
