Learn the tricks and little things that you need to watch out for, and learn it slowly / safely as you progress.
There's a lot to learn apart from reading the manual again and again (at least a few times), YouTube tutorials are a great way to boost the learning curve, as well as reading the mini forum here.

Price,first drone if i wreak it wont matter too much,bought it secondhand,has 2 hours on it[accrording to logs[,came with 2 batt and double charger,parabolic and yagi range extenders and spare props, spare controller sticks and filters for $400aud.Mini 2 are about $1200aud at moment.
