Hi
I want to disable geofencing but can not find it in the latest firmware.
How can I do it?
Thank you
Zahi

its in the same place it always was but after updating the button sometimes disappears. you will have to uninstall DJI GO 4 and re install it and the GEO disable will come back (Thanks to another member for this one). Happened to me it will come as on by default make sure you turn it off.

It's there, in one of the advanced settings, i really can't recall where without booting up.

IMG_5653.PNG IMG_5654.PNG I just checked and I do.

It has been reported by a few members that after updating the GEO button has disappeared along with the unlocking an NFZ option.

this happened to me as well so

i followed advice of another member uninstalled DJI GO 4 reinstalled and fired everything up with the Phone on AIRPLANE MODE. then i went into the app found GEO turned it off and now i have it back again and it stays off.

@Robbyg says his disappeared a long time ago and he has never had it back

some others have said same

i wanted mine to know it was off in the new firnware, now i start in airplane mode and when it says update NFZ i press ok but it cant as its offline.

when i finish up i turn off the mavic off the app then off the rc then switch back out of airplane mode.

works for me to keep GEO option

Hi I see this thread is kind of old but I need some enlightenment.
I have one of the original DJI Mavic Pro's. I have had it 2 plus years.
I did only 1 firmware update shortly after the purchase.
No I do not have the FW version available to me at this time
but can produce it later today.
Personally I never fly near enough to major airports however
there is a park I used to fly in that is near a smaller airport and
was able to fly, but I suppose it may be one that is not as tightened
down by GeoFencing/NFZ.
I have a guy who wants to buy the Mavic and his concern is he is within
5 miles of a Large airport, his concern is he will not be able to take off
in his backyard. Personally I would go some place else.
So I did some research and within my software on my Tablet I cannot
locate anything close to the video posted in this thread.
However I did come across an area mentioned Authorization codes.
Now then I also have an older Cell Phone that has the Go app installed
yet I have not tried to see if the settings in the video show up on that.
I have always kept an open mind for the FAA rules but I understand
the buyers concern.
I did see however mention of an app out there that will disable this.
Im not fond of such apps myself.
So does it sound as if (without testing cell phone app) that my firmware
will only allow for the Auth codes?
