Having fun building a custom pad.

I used a 20x30 sheet of dry erase board. It is rigid so it won't readily flex, has 4 LED lights that can easily be seen at night and a handle on the back for carrying from my garage or car.

They are called paper lantern lights and yes they are battery operated. I purchased a bag of 24 from Amazon cheap. They come with the batteries installed and should have 6-8 hours life each. Later I can modify them to accept a single common power source but that is for the next pad.

They are the white LED variety and I simply painted them. That way I can use them in other applications where color matters.
