Lost mavic pro help pls

I understand but how I lost connection around 500m? where it the 7km range? I flight around 100m than the wind taken my drone than RTH is turned on than I lost my drone. I had no chance to do anything because I completely lost connection.. o_O I could not controll my drone.. so how can I landing without controller? I think its no way.
Today I managed to loose my mavic pro drone ..What is happened is I could not go forward or any way (to bring it back )in the wind so its just gone..RTH does not worked and I lost video signal after 300m which is not 7KM......
well only one thing what i dont understand is RTH did not work also the connection is lost around 500m... than when I looking my flight coordinates the drone fly back wards..Does not metter what I tried to do on the controller going down or anything to save it nothing worked.. which is said. also If i want to loose a lot of money I go to casino lol :D with 0 knowledge.. 100% succesfully. Never again dji or any drones.
Flying a drone with no knowledge or understanding of winds is also an effective way to lose money.
You lost your drone because the wind 100 metres up was blowing faster than the drone could fly in RTH.
It's that simple.

>>**Rule 1**<< The wind is always stronger up higher
So .... If you have a problem fighting a strong headwind up high, the thing to do is to come down lower out of teh strong wind.
You had your RTH height set at 89 metres and the drone was being blown backwards at 2-3 metres/sec in RTH up there. see 17:16
But at 18:01.3 you take it even higher - up to 106 metres and the drone gets blown even further away.

Sure I aggre aboutthe wind But what about the lsot signal near 400m? wind not wind had no chance to do anything becasue I cant even swirch to sport mode or land. Than the drone went up to high because of RTH. it was not me.
all I can say is after when I rush my drone in a corner I had no connection no remote no video nothing so The controll was not in my hand anymore.

Lost signal at 400 metres?
Sorry, I see no lost signal at 400 metres.
What I see in your recorded flight data is full signal right out to 836 metres at 20:10.
Any time up till then you had full control and could have descended and/or canceled RTH and taken control and flown home.
Instead you let the wind take your Mavic.
Than the drone went up to high because of RTH. it was not me.
Who set the RTH that high?
Who allowed the drone to climb to the full RTH height without cancelling it?
Who took it higher by pushing the left stick forward?

You could borrow/ask someone else to fly drone above here to search for it

[ed] have you ever fired an arrow into the wind only to have it return and hit you in the eye?

Ok i have not turned on sport mode but the problem is still same how to turn on sprot mode If no connection? offcourse the video transmitting is just one thing Might still have drone connection. Its happened.Lets find it tomorrow then I will sell it. thanks guys seriously dont know what is the best place for search so It will take a day to find it.

You didn't have any signal issues until around 850 m, but you are misunderstanding the specifications. The 7 km range is under ideal conditions (no interference) and with line of sight. If line of sight is blocked by buildings or terrain then you won't get anything like that.

ok im lost now
I sad around 400 not exactly :D
but 850m is still not 7km.. Im i correct?
When I lost video signal I start to rush and that is all. Signal never come back on the remote little sign jumping up and up than up again .. which mean no connection also the time is not correct.. because i lost my drone around 14:30 or before somehow...(Uk time)
I have set rth 90m because of high building and trees. also hills near by me.
just tell me how to cancell rth if no signal? pls I would like to know that.I really want to know.
I pushing right stick up to go forward not right.
I dont say that im professional becasue im not but I know which stick is going up and down..left and right..etc
may I know where you can see all those information such a Time or which stick I have used.. (what I did not)?
thank you

I see what you mean.. I think when I rushing after my dron I pushed the stick accidentally. So what is your suggestion? where is the best place ,area to find my it?
also one more question you said I have lost connection around 800m than I have checked the usage of remote stick than the second log file show i have pressed forward? If connection lost how i done it? or its something automatic stuff?

I wonder
...Signal never come back on the remote little sign jumping up and up than up again .. which mean no connection ...
Could you describe what you mean by "the remote". Is that the remote controller (with the control sticks) or the phone/tablet that is running Go 4?
I think the "lost connection" may be the connection between the RC and the phone/tablet, which may have been intermittent. Go 4 would display "little signs" (high wind warning, interference, etc.) but the RC would either show Connecting or telemetry data. If that is the case then the RC would still be in control, RTH can be cancelled by using either the pause or RTH buttons, and sport mode would be available.

I am just fishing here. The details don't seem to make sense.

Okay - I think we can do better than 100 m, with a couple of caveats. The aircraft had started to descend, and so we can estimate maximum distance traveled if it continued to drift at the same rate:

Looking at that result on Google Earth shows the following:

The green track is the furthest possible descent flight path, but it probably came down sooner, due to lighter winds as it descended, somewhere under the green track:

It could also be on one of those two flat roofs marked, or have landed on the sloping roofs of those properties just before the car park.

If I had to guess it would be Havelock Rd.

The flat roofs being the best possible hope of retrieval
From the Uni roof look across -hows you going to do that I wonder?

Your flight data: DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com
... shows 20 minutes of flight with full signal and full control for the full 20 minutes.
You initiated RTH at 16 mins 44 sec when the drone was only 254 metres from home.
You still had signal until 20 minutes 10 sec and full control of the drone in all that time.
You only lost signal at 20:10 when the drone had been blown 836 metres away.
just tell me how to cancell rth if no signal? pls I would like to know that.I really want to know.
Of course you can't cancel RTH if you have no signal.
But you had 3.5 minutes of RTH with full signal.
may I know where you can see all those information such a Time or which stick I have used.. (what I did not)?
It's all in the recorded flight data.
When I download the CSV file it shows this much detail including every movement you made with the joysticks for every 1/10th of a second of the flight.

Looks like a lot of people in the area the drone was at, going to need to get real lucky.
Another most likely lost to the wind, altitude, not knowing the limitations of the craft, and flying in a heavily populated area where anyone can snatch the Mavic when it lands due to low battery. Sad.

Fixed that for ya.

Best case scenario is that it auto landed on a rooftop as there will be less people up there to grab and go.

Keep us posted. Analysis like this has allowed many to recover thier lost Mavics. Log Files are pretty darn awesome for analysis!
