I think it is relevant. 99% of USA Mini owners do not want to register their drones. I don't care as I register all my drones but that's just me.

Not to mention it will be exempt from the goofy RID rule coming in 2023 or whenever it kicks in finally.
So the 249g threshold is important.

I think piloting error is what causes “bad Dji support”

I’m guessing not. I think it’s got it’s own specialised controller. Don’t quote me on this though - I know as much as the next speculator.

That's my thought too. Having its own Pro Controller diminish the possibility of using the RC Pro. My 2 cents.

Why would they make multiple incarnations of the same controller? Doesn't make much sense unless it's going to be a "lower quality" version (less brightness). Off topic a bit but they REALLY should have larger screen in all their "smart" controllers. It's the same size as an iPhone MINI which is quite difficult to see when you get past age 50 under any light. At least a 7" screen IMO.

sorry just bought one earlier LOL
But I know that they will not develop a new remote after having shipped it with the Mavic 3
now I hope the screen RC is compatible with the whole lineup, now that is a bet/speculation

Turns out it was less silly than telling people it is wise to upgrade mini 1 to 2 in April 2022

Any word on a Fly More + RC controller bundle? Charging port on my S21 is going faulty so flying via a cable into my phone is a no go.
