I have been perusing the Mavic manual and on page 34 it says that if the battery level is below 10% it would go into hibernation mode. There has also been mention that to store the batteries over long periods to have the batteries at around 50-60%.

Which is better 50-60% for storing or below 10% to put into hibernation for storage?

Below hibernation=you're going to find your batteries dead and out of warranty.

It will also go to hibernation if left alone for some time.
The below 10% hibernation is probably a protection measure to avoid undercharge.

I also was wondering about that. So is it best to periodically charge them to that 50-60% level ? I live in NY and expect that I may not be able to fly for longer periods of time because of the cold temps.
