Auto settings; testing dynamic range

I am impressed. I wanted to see how the camera performed in auto before tinkering with the manual settings. I have to say that the claims about the improved dynamic range are well-founded. The sky and the ground are both properly exposed without any post-corrections. The pano is straight from the camera and the other shot has minor adjustments to highlights and shadows.

Have you tried a spherical panorama? I'm wondering if they've fixed the auto-exposure settings for that (something I'm having to work around on the Mavic Pro every time).

I haven't done a pano yet; so many features to test out on this thing! I don't have any doubt that it will perform well. Everything else is stellar so far. I'll post one on the forum once I do.

This drone is amazing. You don’t have to work very hard to get quality images.

That's not a spherical one? I meant ones using the Sphere pano option (as in the 'starter image' of PanGazer: PanGazer - introduction).

Oh ok, I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll be out flying tomorrow if the forecasted rain doesn't come; if it's clear skies I'll try it then.
