The smoothing cap maybe if I had to but unlikely

I would also of used a fiberglass pen to clean up the pad ether than the soldering iron, to much risk of damaging the pcb

Remember that was her personal phone not a customers. And she typically does data recovery from water damaged devices, so saving the actual phone (in this case) wasn't the priority.
She has some other really interesting videos digging into Apple repaired iPads etc.
