Hi all! Just got my Mavic in Finland last week. The weather has been in the -5C...+4C region. This morning i went to a beach to shoot the sunrise and icy landscapes:
There was something weird going on with the gimbal, some shots are tilted to the left. I calibrated the gimbal on an uneven bench, and it helped! Don't know if the cold had anything to do with it.

More cold shooting can be found on my channel: Aron J.A.

I share your pain. Flew at -20F (-29C) yesterday.

I did get a downward sensor error....I think it was probably from taking off in the snow. I also received a warning of low battery temperature, but it didn't seem to effect the flight.

Great video!!
Looks like islands on way to Porvoo. Great ice cubes!

I did short video from Espoonlahti last week when it was cloudy and a bit more windy, outcome is not as nice:
Winter Day in Helsinki
I have better shots form this weekend but I need a bit of time to edit them.
Regarding the stability before IMU and compass calibration I used to have shaky video especially when flying with side wind. I did 'cold' IMU calibration and proper compass calibration (far from any constructions) and videos seem to be more stable. I did not manage to get rid of slight tilt once flying with side wind (over 5m/s).
