Mavic Mount for tripod - Football Sideline Camera

Hey All,

Need some help.....High School football coaches at the Lake of the Ozarks, we purchased a DJI Air 2s last year and the plastic mount that held the drone to the sideline tripod broke. Of course the sideline camera company can not find this item to replace it (said they found it on amazon), we have looked all over, with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? The plastic piece just screws into the tripod and the drone sits in the saddle with the strap over the top. Any solutions would be welcomed and appreciated. Thank you

It looks like this propeller guard with a modified strap.

You're right.

This stock accessory with a hole drilled for a standard tripod QR plate will do exactly the same job... or the OP could simply use epoxy resin to glue the QR directly to the bottom.

Try searching for a universal drone tripod mount or adapter for the Air 2S on Amazon or eBay. You could also 3D print a custom replacement—many online services offer this affordably.
