Hi all,
Needing some serious help!
SILVER GIMBAL CABLE HAS SNAPPED
My friend bought a new DJI Mavic Pro in South Africa.
When we were traveling Europe he crashed it from quite a height and felt that he didn't want to (couldn't be bothered) to repair/replace it,
The damage that is sustained is as follows:
I know that I can (fairly easily) replace the motor arm and of course the battery.
My main issue is that I know that I can buy the flat ribbon cable and it is 'OK' to replace it but when it comes to the silver cable running to the gimbal.... I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!
Does anybody know where I can buy one? or whether it can be repaired?
As all of the small silver cables look the same, I was sure whether this is just a type of power cable and could be easily soldered or if it has to be definitely replaced??
I have seen a few posts on this topic but haven't been able to find a solid answer.
If all else fails, then I will have to send it in to a specialist but I'm trying to avoid the costs.
Thanks in advance!
I can upload pictures if needed but it's just a snapped cable

My friend bought a new DJI Mavic Pro in South Africa.
When we were traveling Europe he crashed it from quite a height and felt that he didn't want to (couldn't be bothered) to repair/replace it,
The damage that is sustained is as follows:
- Snapped the rear left motor arms
- Completely snapped the Gimbal camera off
- destroyed the battery
I know that I can (fairly easily) replace the motor arm and of course the battery.
