SP will downgrade to .0300 without having to do it manually.SP worked fine for me last week. Just had to download the 0300 firmware with a separate tool also linked from the Github page.

And I thank you for that, very muchWell it’s available to you as a free option.
Hmm. The link to where I had the firmware download from must be broken. Not sure why I didn’t just have the firmware download from my own GitHub like the rest of the code. Maybe I was worried about copyright having a full unmodified firmware from DJI on there. Seems like a silly worry at this point. You still have to download it and like I wrote you can't do it directly from SP anymore. It's a minor inconvenience as the tool is linked on Github but it's a potential stumbling block for a beginner'
My pleasure! My contribution is very small compared to the heavy lifting done by others before me so I’m glad to give back what I canAnd I thank you for that, very much
While I've rooted several Android phones and tablets over the years, I was always anxious about the possibility of bricking the device if I didn't do everything right and in the right order. My drone is more precious to me than those phones and tablets but I'll get around to using Super Patcher one of these days... probably sooner than later.
Thanks again for your efforts and contribution to the community.
Yeah not a big problem since you can run DankDroneDownloader GitHub - cs2000/DankDroneDownloader: A Custom Firmware Download Tool for DJI Drones Written in C# separately, it's just that a beginner will need to look around a bit ;-)Hmm. It would probably be a really easy fix on my part. I didn’t think I would be making any updates to SP but I may now.Yeah not a big problem since you can run DankDroneDownloader GitHub - cs2000/DankDroneDownloader: A Custom Firmware Download Tool for DJI Drones Written in C# separately, it's just that a beginner will need to look around a bit ;-)
I’m just digging into some of this. Are the mods mostly to remove height and zone restrictions?Does anybody know where I can find the 01.04.0500 update which is compatible with the Super-Patcher mod? I have found references to this but have not been able to locate the download. The other question is would it be a waste of time to do it? Should I just stick with 01.04.0300 with the Super-Patcher mod and leave it alone? Many thanks to brett8883 for his hard work!
Hello, you are the dev of super patcher? thank for your job, can you contact me please, I can't get it to work, it starts and closes when the download startsWell it’s available to you as a free option. If you are timid there is also Drone-Hacks which is a paid option. It’s a more polished and straightforward program with 99.9% the same functionality. When I made Super-Patcher it was my hope that someone more talented than me would come along and take it to the next level which is what ultimately happened with Drone-Hacks.
I’m not affiliated with Drone-Hacks in any way but I do know the dev and he’s a good guy. I see it as the successor to what I made in the same way my program was the unaffiliated successor to another project.
I haven’t looked at it in years. It would probably needs to be redone at this point to work.Hello, you are the dev of super patcher? thank for your job, can you contact me please, I can't get it to work, it starts and closes when the download starts
Actually Brett,I haven’t looked at it in years. It would probably needs to be redone at this point to work.
Try this.....FIXXERHello, you are the dev of super patcher? thank for your job, can you contact me please, I can't get it to work, it starts and closes when the download starts
Hey thanks for bringing this to my attention and providing the solution. I have now released version 2.0.3 which provides error handling for this issue and includes the 32 bit, 64 bit, and 64 bit ARM versions of busybox. So if one doesn't work it goes onto the next. I also added some error stops so that if this becomes an issue again at least we'll know the problem.Try this.....FIXXER
I'm not sure where I got it, so I can't give credit where it is due, but this will work.
