My Mavic was in follow me mode and it started drifting away. Unfortunately, It hit the tree brunches and crashed a few meters away from a steel rail
Interesting enough the battery came out mid air so I saw 2 objects falling. Did DJI designed it in such a way, so heavy part (battery) would eject so that the weight of the drone falling would be less reducing the damage?
It turns on and flies, but there is weird sound coming out of one of the propellers and I think it needs to be replaced. Also the metal chip covering the wing came off.

Now, how do I go about repairing this? I heard pretty horrible stories of people sending their drone to DJI and waiting 3 month just to get it back.
Also can I glue the metallic part on top of it that came off or is there a better way to fix it? Will I still be able to use this battery if I manage to fix the housing or better to throw it away ($100+) and buy a new one?
