Mini 2 Battery Cell replacement

Don't do it.

First, the BMS will probably permanently mark the pack dead after disconnecting the first cell, and only DJI can reset it.

Second, it is very important to have high quality, matched (internal resistance, capacity, state-of-charge characteristics, etc.) cells.

Good luck with that on AliExpress 😆

Search on YouTube. There is a lot of information on this topic.
You may also need to familiarize yourself with DJI Battery Killer
so you can set up the new package properly.
Plus, you'll have to figure out how to properly store your batteries so they don't swell anymore.

What is the proper way to store the batteries? Mine are swelling too. Thanks

It never eases to amaze me how people buy these things without doing any research before, if your batteries are swollen they could have caught fire and burnt your house down with you in it, there is lots of info on this forum I suggest you use the search icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Unfortunately, batteries with this type of chemistry are like small children. More attention is needed.
There are several things, that over the years and my experience with this type of battery allow me to use them for a very long time.
Batteries do not like fast charging and rapid discharge, as well as high temperatures. Basically.
Some of the things that are important are in the second link from "tstr14's" post.
Additionally:
1. When I fly, I always calculate the flight time so that I land with about 5-10% battery charge. When I get home I discharge the battery slowly (relatively) to 0% or when the BMS disconnects the battery terminals. I usually do this slow discharge through a battery hub, in powerbank mode, charging something.
2. After the battery is depleted, I wait about 15-30 min and charge it with about 0.5C (500mA-1A) to about 50-55% and store it at room temperature.
3. Before flying, I always let the drone idle the engines for about 10 seconds.
In AliExpress, there are several types of chargers that give information about the state of the battery. Charge current, residual charge, etc. There is no mystery in DJI chargers. Whether theirs or another manufacturer's will be used is the same, as long as the charge current is not exceeded.
If we want the batteries to last longer and reliably, it is not bad to invest a small amount for these gadgets.
edit:
I forgot to add that I check the charge level every 10-15 days or so, via one of the Chinese gadgets.
