My experience with a Karen who pinned my car in to ask for documentation

In most countries this would be a crime "depravation of liberty" etc. She has as much right to ask you for your drone license as you have to ask her for her driver's license. She has zilch authority.

And further you have a right in the US to demand her identification and proof of authority to be demanding your paperwork before you have to do anything.

Don't fly from public places or exposed areas, search a takeoff point that it's at least at 150m from everything, with a nice line of sight and once you take off send the drone and least 250m away from you so the noise don't lure karens to you.

Else you can try to educate the people, I'm thinking of buying a DJI Neo with a few batteries specifically for that purpose, so I can just walk with my dog and have that cheap drone buzzing around in follow me mode. A few months doing that and no one in my town will care about drones anymore.

It's a shame that someone doing something perfectly legal has to think this way.
