Need more folks around my neck o' the woods

Drone flying would be so much more fun if I had more people that flew drones around where I live heh. I have to go all the way to Austin or north Austin to hang out with drone pilots.....I live in the Cedar Creek / Bastrop, TX area.

There needs to be a Bastrop convention and "infect" people with the "I need to fly a drone" bug.. lol....

The agency I work for takes it far too seriously..

IDK, I think it would be nice to have someone who shares interest in the hobby present instead of a dozen inquisitive onlookers asking a thousand questions. Don't get me wrong, I'm always prepared to pitch the positives of our hobby to anyone who is genuinely interested but sometimes the same'ole questions over and over again start to wear on you. Plus, you can practice a little CRM with two sets of eyes. On the other hand, if you get three drone pilots together, bad things start to happen. That's usually when you start to hear talk like "bet'cha can't" and "hey watch this".
