New firmware: V01.03.0600

If I tested .600 correctly I think we might have throttle-up back as a way to cancel forced auto-landing. To test I had Landing Protection switched on and then used throttle down til it paused at 1.5 feet height. Then held throttle-down for the three seconds to do the force land. Once the mavic moved lower I throttled up and the landing stopped and ascended based on stick input. I tried this multiple times and it worked each time.
DJI Ken said they would revert this, so maybe this was the one, good stuff.

now everyone will feel just a touch better if this is true.

Now does this improve or get rid of the "water paint affect" videos ?

Anyone had trouble updating this firmware as I have tried for over three hours to update, it keeps hanging at 79% then fails...anyone the same or was successful with this please

worked first time.

Are you doing this over wifi or from the computer (GO4 or DJI assistant?)

Just did the .600 upgrade. Can anyone confirm NO battery update with this firmware?

So only one person has installed this update and tested so far?

I just updated and flew about 14k feet. No issues at all. I did not test the landing interrupt... sorry. Will give that a try on the next flight.

Mine worked first time over cable by MacBook Pro.

I quote Hangar:

Issue Resolved with Mavic Pro
The latest DJI firmware update (v01.03.0600) now supports Mavic Pro usage of Autopilot.

Please only use Autopilot with your Mavic Pro if you are running this firmware to avoid flight control issues.

We will update further when we hear about and can test any updates for Phantom 4 Pro or Inspire 2. For now, please do not use Autopilot with these aircraft until a firmware update that fixes the erratic behavior is released.

Note: For Inspire 2 and Phantom 4 Pro it is still possible to safely use Human Flight Control Modes and Waypoint Mode as long as Lost Connection is set to Continue Mission (LCMC). It is also possible to downgrade the Phantom 4 Pro to v01.02.0304 and have complete Autopilot functionality.

Thanks for your understanding!

Just out of curiosity, how do you stay at a previous firmware version? Doesn't the DJI GO App force you to download each firmware update before you can fly? I've never seen where I was given an option. What have I missed?
