New firmware: V01.03.0600

Just updated and saw horizontal obstacle avoidance, where it will try to go around instead of over; is this a new thing?

No, had to stop it as in work now, going to try again when I get home, try a few different USB cables, if that don't work then I might do it through the DJI assistant on the computer...bloody annoying!
Check if your wifi is on the 2.4GHz channel. It can interfere with the RC communicating with the Mavic as it uses the same band. If you can connect to wifi at 5GHz, or download the update over LTE with wifi turned off, I've found that you'll have less of a chance of hanging.

Mine hung up at 79% for about seven minutes friend, then jumped to 82% and finished. I keep my antenna folded, and the remote eight inches (208mm) from the drone. The device on a long cord from the bottom USB port and what Peel said above. Good luck.

Similarly, move your controller and phone (device) away from the Mavic. This seems to fix the problem of hanging or failed updates. I put the RC/phone closer to my WiFi router, with the Mavic about 15+ feet away from the RC, further from the router.

I'm w/ you, still on FW .4.Thumbswayup

Usually I'm so into looking at new features in electronics (iPhone or Android tablets mostly)that I jump on new update asap. (Usually it leaves me with disappointment and no chance to downgrade)

But I've kept in.400 after I downgraded from my first "too soon" update.
Now I really want to upgrade, do you guys think I should or are we talking about that I'm better off in.400?

Im more willing now since autopilot said that the api for mavic is finally fixed.

You can always go back down if you do not like it.

Is there a way to check what FW I have in the Go App??

I just went to try to update and it said I had the latest FW....

Have not tested but that is what I am reading, only for the Mavic however, not the p4p or others.

SomeView attachment 10386 times, and this is my belief, they bring out new firmware, not to improve the existing one, but to correct some big mess in the previous version. Specially in this case when there's less than a week between them... One thing is clear, I will update mine ASAP just in case; I flew my MV just an hour ago, to find that there was a lot of interference, new to me on a well known area; so bad I had to abort my mission without delay..

Spanish Flyer
PS. was trying to take photos of a roman bridge at the proper height, but had to take a couple much higher than planned.
GREAT PIC!

I'm gonna stay on 4 for just a bit longer until I hear good feedback from others on Litchi with Mavic. Then I'll make the move. I really do t want to be one of the Guinea pigs in this situation.

Wait, What?

I'm just able to downgrade to the one previous firmware? Or can I choose from any former firmware?
Any of the last four updates you want, on the first page of the app (with the pictures of drones and stuff) hold down the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner for three seconds and follow the prompts.
