Neo and palm control -- Am I missing something?
I really like the Mavic Air and Spark's gesture control. They are great for group photos, selfies, quick action videos. The Mavic Air's gesture control is reliable enough to change its direction, height, and distance from me or my group, then take photos or videos. All this can be done without a remote or phone. It's great for scenic hikes, family selfies, etc. Sometimes, I just want a photo and not video (I know I can extract).
When DJI announced the Neo, I thought it would have those features and more. Phone control is nice, voice might be useful, etc. However, after watching several videos and looking through the manual, I don't see a way to use palm control to take photo selfies. I don't even know if this can be done using a phone. It seems like the Neo is a video drone with preset modes and manual control via phone or remote. There is no gesture control to position the drone or to take pictures.
Am I correct, or is there some way to do what Mavic Air (and Spark) can do as I described above?
Thanks.
