Good morning everyone.

I’m new to drones, but I’ve held a private pilot’s license since 2001, and I’ll admit that until recently I was strongly against drones.

Back in the mid 2000’s I was in a partnership for partial ownership of a c-172, and saving for my own 152. Then drones hit the market. They killed my photography business, and I had to sell my share of the aircraft. I haven’t really paid them much attention until recently when I had the chance to fly my buddy’s phantom 2. I was hooked, and I recently bought a new Mavic Air.

I’m looking forward to working with y’all, and learning new tricks to get the most out of my new hobby.

Welcome from Chicago. You can look into the new Mavic 2, hear it takes amazing photos
with the Hassie camera. Just waiting for reviews from everybody else before I buy. I am retired
photographer, learned how to fly my Mavic pro, now learning how to take pictures and fly the thing at the same time. You have a advantage because you are a pilot, and taking the teat to use your drone
for commercial use should be a snap for you. This forum is use full to help you gain knowledge and confidence to keep your bird flying and not in the shop for repairs. Anyway you can ask questions,
or check out Mavic Help and Mavic tips which will answer most of your questions. Blue Skies to you
and safe flying .

Welcome to Mavic Pilots from Dayton Ohio! Enjoy your new Mavic Air, Fly safe and have fun!
