You can’t land 5-6 feet off the water. Also a drone that has a flight failure over water will sink and loose your footage and opportunity to use DJI refresh just to as well regardless of what height it is flown.
Edit- to ensure my point is clear- it should be obvious that many will benefit from this product. I enjoy the challenge of honing my skills on the sticks to get the shots I want manually and find autonomous missions boring- doesn’t mean I can’t understand the benefit of litchi or other 3rd party apps.
Agreed, but why would you ever
want to land on water? It's a flying camera, and not a pontoon aircraft, and you don't need to fly lower than 5 or 6 feet to get the best low, over water camera angles. Flying
lower than that only creates more motion blur, ruining the cinematic footage, and adding
unnecessary risk. Flight failures simply don't happen any more, unless you fly it into the water because you are flying far lower than necessary to get the shot, because of a
misunderstanding of how the shot
should be cinematically accomplished.
If you do fly it into the drink, DJI Care Refresh has a
specific exclusion for "
any damage caused by flight under unsuitable flying conditions." DJI will look at your entire flight log and see you were landing on the water, and trying to soak the drone, and they will deny coverage. Read the DJI Care policy. Recovering the drone won't help you with coverage if you were deliberately flying recklessly over, on, and in water.

"Damage due to the following reasons are not covered by DJI Care:
3) Damage caused by flight under unsuitable flight conditions."

Purchasing and using this device does not make your
otherwise unsuitable flight conditions suitable for flying to guarantee DJI Care coverage!

If you feel you need this contraption, buy it, but you really should work on your piloting skills first, and learn how shots that
appear to be taken from the water surface are
actually shot, so you don't need to wear water wings and a wetsuit every time you fly around and over water, and you should really read and
understand your DJI Care policy exclusions. I've now been flying low over and around salt water for four years without any such devices, without ever once getting wet!
If you are truly flying VLOS, you can clearly see how low over the water you are from above and the side, and you never need to fly lower than 6 feet to
look like you were
in the water. Try it. You'll see.
Not sure what Litchi has to do with it, but it's a great flying app to complement or replace GO 4, especially for its LCMC functionality that allows the mission to continue despite signal loss, so flying behind tall buildings and into canyons and over the back side of mountain tops actually becomes technically becomes possible, without RTH kicking in every time! However, using that feature certainly violates any VLOS requirements in the U.S.A.
