Have been flying a Karma for about a year and decided to jump to the DJI world. I have everything setup and updated.
I will take the Maden flight sometime today.
I am from East Texas.

Welcome from Canada to Mavic Pilots!
And enjoy your stay here, there is a wealth of information to be had so take your time and look around and enjoy reading all the great stuff you can do with your Mavic, :) Feel free to ask any questions you may have and remember the search tool is a great resource to see who may have had a similar issue or may offer a great tip.
Enjoy your day and happy flying :)

Welcome! I am curious how a Mavic compares to GP Karma. Been using Gopros for a while. Thought for a few minutes about getting one. Wanted that detaching gimbal. Again Welcome!

The Karma is a good drone. I liked the footage and photos I have got with it. I need to be able to fly indoors at times. The Karma doesn't like to do this, or at least I don't like doing it. Very hard to hold steady for photos.

Thanks for that. What kind of range did you get? For indoor you might also think of a Tello.

I have done multiple aerial pano of large properties. The last one was a gun range here in Texas and I was 10 yards behind the firing line and flew down past the 500 yard mark to get images and I was at an ALT of 200 feet.

ended up with 56 images to stitch.
