new to the forum , couple of questions

Hi All
Canadian here , looking at buying a Spark or a Mavic Air . I know i need to do the testing and get a license . Do i need to have the drone to register in order to write the exam ? Still doing some research looking at different models trying to figure one that will work for me without breaking the budget .

I have the Mavic Air and am very happy with it. As far as I know you don't need a registered drone to take the test.
