It looks like they now have support for the M2P. Anybody tried it yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

Do I understand correctly you have to use a Window based computer to download and install?

These events are 2 years old. Did help create the whole modding scene back then, but irrelevant now.

Sounds like you know a bit about this software option? Can it be used with the Smart Controller? Does one have to back out to an earlier firmware and then can one it and update the firmware again? I would like to override the NFZ so that I can fly over my 5,000 sq ft single family lot even if there is a football game two miles away at the university stadium. I could not unlock when I tried.

Currently for the M2 NLD can remove NFZ, as long as the M2 is on firmware .0100. What controller is used doesn't matter.

Just my opinion, but with some DJI firmware updates to the Smartcontroller still being a little bit challenging, you might want to wait on it to become a little more stable before you go and override the system and remove restrictions.

Dont get me wrong, nolimitdronez is fine for people who know what they are doing by rolling back firmware, staying on a firmware thats not the latest and greatest, and trusting that their drone will still perform the way it did out of the factory. However, its best left to more experienced drone pilots to install and maintain. I hate bricking controllers or drones...
