Hey @shane8289 You have tied @ChrisW81 . Since he posted his speed first, he will remain in that position.
You will have to exceed his stats in order to place. Sorry, but that is only fair. Give it another try and hope for that extra tail wind. Good Luck!;)

There have been request for a Leaderboard for top speeds from the MA!.

What is the top speed of your DJI Mavic Air in Sport Mode?

Please tag me in your post, @Drone Master if you want to be added.

Requirements:
  • Screenshots from either the DJI Go 4 app, or Air Data. (Your Mavic Air Logo Must Be Present In Your Screenshots!;))
  • Note: Your Mavic Air Top Speed Without Tail Wind And At Just Above Sea Level From DJI's Specifications Is 42.5 MPH Or 68.4 KM/H Stock For Out of box!
  • Your entry must "exceed" those specifications in order to place on the leaderboard. This will help eliminate ties and or duplicate entries.

Good luck to the pilots that have that need for speed!

The list is in MPH and KM/H!

First test with sport mode actually. Took it to my parents place to test it out since they live out in the country.

Wow! Were you flying in a wind storm? What was your location during this flight? It's hard to believe your MA did not come apart at that speed.
Can you give us a little more detail on how you were able to achieve those speeds?

Maybe it was a tornado , I'm not sure. my MA was hit 3 times by high wind , almost lose control . Luckily I took it home in safety .

Here's my top speed! Looks kinda pathetic compared to others but I'm not brave enough to use it during windy conditions!

Thanks

How are people hitting such high speeds? My experience is the MA limits its power output to maintain its theoretical maximum?
Yesterday I was hitting 19.6 m/s in a gusty, sometimes 15 m/s wind. Even when flying downwind it wouldn't exceed 19.6 m/s...

To exceed 20 m/s do you need a windspeed in excess of the maximim so the MA is effectively coasting?
