At FAA's User ID Tool, User Identification Tool
The instructions stated to use Part 107 registration (see attached image). But reading elsewhere, including at FAADroneZone, it sounds like a recreational only pilot should register under Section 336 aka Part 101. I've already paid my $5 and purchased labels so I'm leaning strongly towards letting it ride. Opinions? Advice? Thx. I don't plan on spending $150 to get a Remote Pilot Certification and will never be flying 'non-recreation'. Why is so much government red tape usually so unclear?
