Phone not playing downloaded videos

I can play the low res preview just fine, but when I actually download it to the app and try to play it, it freezes up. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled, and to no avail. Any suggestions?

Hi there & welcome to the forum

Now I don't know what quality you have on the original video & what mobile device you have... but it will take some power from your device to play a 4K+ high bitrate & frame rate clip... are you sure you mobile device can manage it?

Try the video on your computer instead, if it fails there also... maybe your computer isn't up for the task either, then try to lower the resolution &/or the frame rate to get a "lighter" file, if it works your hardware is most probably to weak to handle hi res videos.

Moto G stylus 5G (2022)
Video plays fine thru my laptop...lower res/frame rate may be the solution, as the Mastershot I took plays fine thru the phone after being downloaded to the app. Are Mastershots shot at a lower resolution? I can't find any info on that....
