Great Shot of the " City by the bay"...
Last time a was there ( By water) I watch the city (and bay bridge shake apart)
The Embarcadero was a big dust cloud that will never forget...

I hope to make it back some day maybe take a mavic fly by the Painted lady's

.....in the back you can Barely see the Coit tower /Parrot Hill
.
.Thanks ....cR

Thanks for your kind words. I remember that shakin day very well. My Sister in law was under the embarcadero freeway during the shake and she said the dust cloud was huge. Scared the living daylight out of her.

Brilliant SteveThumbswayup I’m being very nosy.... can I ask what your settings were, so it gives me a better understanding with my dusk/dawn/night shots.

Many thanks as always and sorry for being a pain;)

I’ll double check later today and post the settings for you.

Thanks so much Steve, my camera settings are very similar to yours but my photos are crap compared to yours. Must figure out what I’m doing wrong. I bracket 5 shots in raw hoping this would improve things in post but obviously not.. back to the drawing board me thinks;)

I don’t bracket anymore unless I’m trying to do an HDR shot. I try to get the exposure right by eyeing it. For sunset shots, I find the key is not blowing the highlights. I also wait until the sun has already set in order to accomplish this. It’s near impossible to not blow highlights if the sun is still in the sky. Hope this helps.

Thanks Steve, I’ll try your recommendations out next time I fly;)
