Question for experts!

Hello, I have been flying the mavic with no issues on firmware 1.03.0400 and on the GO 4 app v 4.0.2 on my android phone for a long time. Today I used the mavic with same firmware but using an iPad mini 4 with the latest GO 4 app. 2 issues! Message saying I am in a class D area and cannot fly more than 50ft etc etc, however after reaching that limit and pulling back I was then able to fly any distance and height as before. Second issue, when the high wind sign came up the mavic would barely move even on full throttle, this has never happened before. Are these normal things when using the latest GO 4 app even with the good old mavic firmware? I plan to go back to android and my 4.0.2 GO 4 app.

Question for you, do you feel that the claims of loss of video at shorter distances now are valid while using the latest firmware and software?

I am still using the old firmware!...and old app
