Samsung Galaxy E Lite 7.0 for a tablet? No GPS an issue?

Decided to go with Samsung Galaxy E Lite 7 inch tablet, found a $90 deal, not too big, not too small, fits nicely inside the rc brackets. Only concern I have is it does not support GPS like some other tablets do. Is that an issue for the Mavic or DJI software? I mean, the Mavic itself is equipped with GPS, and the tablet connects via Wi-Fi, so what would be the advantage of having GPS in the tablet also?

I think Tab E Lite does not have enough CPU power to run the app smoothly.
