These are 35$ on Amazon which i feel is steep but after buying 1 i had to go back for 2 more. The power this little led puts out is beyond amazing. Its much smaller than you would think too. I can now see my mavic with ease at night . Fyi 1 is plenty i just want it extra bright

Ill load a video of it flying tonight. If you need a beacon try one of these

70mah lipo battery, micro usb port, has mini on/off button: push once to check battery life (1-3 blinks to show level) and gold down for 3 seconds to turn strobe on or off

Not a noticeable difference size wise, I have both couldn't wait for 2weeks to receive so I ordered the ones on Amazon for $35, now I wish I didn't order from Amazon and I shared the wrong exact link but it's the same website

Yeah, it's not too much different. The CREE version is only 2mm smaller on all sides. The larger version is available here. It's currently back-ordered.

The Cree version lasts 2+ hours (per the manufacturer). It takes 2 hours to recharge it when the battery is empty.

They also sell them here on Amazon. Or get them direct from Flytron for much less. They should do the job for most people, but they are larger, heavier, and not as bright as the Cree version.

Do they not have a flash setting ?

Was thinking of getting a couple of these -one on top and one underneath - more as a way of finding your mavic should you loose it.
Thinking if I did loose the mavic and couldnt find it, once it got dusk/dark something like this might make finding it easier especially if they were flashing.

Plus the flashing would pretty much double the battery run time
