Should I be worried about firmware updates?

I usually like to wait a couple months after a firmware update is issued before I update my own unit. I've heard a few horror stories about other DJI products going haywire soon after a new firmware update is released. I heard there was a recent firmware update released for the mavic, but as I use Litchi I haven't had the need to download it. The problem is that my gimbal is tilted and the horizon is slightly off and this can't be adjusted with Litchi. So it's either fix my gimbal tilt or risk the unknown. Any advice?

Mavic firmware updates are not risky since you can roll them back using the DJI Assistant 2 app.

I have had no problems since the latest firmware update. My bird flies beautifully!
