Silicon Valley Drone Pilot

I am an avid drone pilot in the South Bay. Currently living in Gilroy but flying all around the bay area. My old side hustle was photography and thought I would take a shot at Drone photography for a while. Still working toward FAA Drone Cert Part 107 so I can charge for my services, but in the meantime, I'm still enjoying flying on my own time. Previous drones have been Phantom 3, Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro, and Mavic. I decided to sell them all on and trade them all for a Mavic Air 2. Better camera and flight time. ALmost did the Mavic Pro Zoom, but it was overkill for my needs. The announcements of Air 2 was just in time.

Looking for other pilots interested in recreational flights in the south bay area.

Welcome to the forum, from just up the freeway! If we’re all allowed out again next month, there will be a monthly drone MeetUp event at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale. There’s usually a couple dozen people who attend, but the June event may have even more people with new MA2s and Minis. The organizer and his friends will bring the larger Matrice and Inspire, too.
