Yes, you can rotate the drone in any direction while it is flying, but the rotation isn't slow and cannot be changed. You will need to use the sticks very carefully to adjust the rotational speed. You can't slow it's rotational speed to something like Cine mode.
When not in waypoint flight, zooming in and out with the Mavic 3 will usually slow or speed up gimbal movement as well as rotational movement relative to the amount of zoom. This does not happen when flying waypoints. The speeds of gimbal and drone rotation do not change. Changing the speeds can only be adjusted by how much force you put on the controllers.
And just a note that you all probably know, altititude and speed can only be controlled during pre-programming the way points. Once the waypoint path is up and running , the altitude and speed can not be re-adjusted.
That's the negatives I've noticed. Some may not have concern of these. But if you want to take a leisurely stroll and film things, you may want to consider these things I mentioned.
