Synology DS923+ NAS for 4k transcoding via Plex?

Has anybody used this to transcode 4k Mavic video yet? I tried a search on here for that model but got no hits. There's talk about the AMD processor not being as good for transcoding because of the lack of GPU like the Intel-based NAS boxes. My take was that it was good for some 4k streams but some were harder. Does it do a good job on the Mavic stuff?
