A possible alternative would be to sentence the perpetrators to come and work for thunderdrones for a short time period.

The 1st thing they will learn In their rehabilitation would be to never crash a drone. By the time they leave here and their training is complete they will either be

1. fully reformed,
2. sent to the nearest sanitarium for psychotherapy
3. or simply running down the street begging to he arrested again and sent somewhere else.

Yeah kind of a dumb choice, especially to only smuggle some smokes and cell phones. $6000+ drone to sacrifice, not to mention the jail time they will get. The perps still have 2 weeks to be entered into the dumb thieves of 2018 contest.

How is it a victim-less crime everytime some ignorant person does something like this it tears at the fabric of society. The reason incarnation rates are so high is because someone is always doing some dumb-*** thing.
