I just got my controller back and confirmed it's working. I'll be able to spend time with the app tomorrow - weather permitting
Great to hear from you! Please make sure Mavic Air is selectable and that the flight logs upload as well.We are here and working. Beta testers can Chime in and verify we are getting very close. Don't want to put the app out there and have issues we can avoid.

I heard Mavic Air is still not selectable and that flight logs don't get shared via AirData. These two things are important.Agreed! They are getting very close. As a software developer, I appreciate the value of thorough evaluation and testing.

I understand the concern since Mavic Air was released January 23, 2018 and it's not in the new HUD apk from what I hear.I am worried that Epson will develop an app that is out of date like the operating system they selected! if the Air is not included will the dreamed of Mavic Pro-2 be compatible?
I believe that Multirotors are advancing now and technology is changing annually as the mobile phone is.People upgrade all the time! If the Epson app is working on older DJI products than the current year then the app will probably be of no use in 2019!
Very positive progress on app, can't give an exact date on release, will be soon. How soon? Well..............................keep a charged battery set aside. Won't be too much longer.
I just remembered I wanted to comment on this. I do prefer "options" on features, rather than killing a feature. I think I like might like the feature as described, while others might not.
- For rotation left and right, not so much. This is a feature I think I'd like the option of turning off. Here's why:
- Since, on the Mavic, the horizontal motion actually turns the drone, it effects the flight path. If the MPP had a 3D gimbal and could rotate horizontally independent of the flight path, I could definitely use this the same way as the vertical tracking. But having it linked to the flight path makes the feature pretty useless. If I'm focused on flight path, I'll just use the stick. I have to press a key anyway, so the stick is more natural (when flying) to rotate the bird. Again, I'd feel differently if the Mavic had horizontal travel in the gimbal...so let me turn that feature off and still use vertical tracking!
Yes...an option is what I had in mind. Allow the use to turn off horizontal head tracking if they want to, but keep vertical working. I suppose an option on the vertical would be good for some people as well.I just remembered I wanted to comment on this. I do prefer "options" on features, rather than killing a feature.
