The Video Editor CapCut is no longer available in the United States…

I'm relieved to know that the CCP can no longer use CapCut to glean sensitive information from my drone-videos of scenic rock formations in western Colorado. Just waiting now for my electric toothbrush to be outlawed because the Chinese can use it to map the inside of my mouth, a matter of vital national security importance. How long before my made-in-China Norelco shaver is banned? Will I have to grow a beard?

You have a Norelco!? Oh man, theyve already got your dental records..... oh and I just updated and used CapCut about 5 hours ago. Still works great! But I'm in Hawaii, maybe we're part of China now? Hard to keep up with the news these days...

Brilliant, here in the U.K the government have made plenty of screwups over the years, i don't think our incompetent lot would dare to ban drones or progs like CapCut because they may be used to spy on us as the backlash would be huge, as you say what next.

No, it's a Phillips Sonicare. But brand doesn't matter. I think all electric toothbrushes are made in China.

CapCut is available in the US, I rescinded that notice last February that it failed in the posting immediately above your post. It was only a temporary hitch and it is now over…

CapCut is owned by Tik Tok so when they allowed them back in the US again, it became available once more...unless they decide to ban Tik Tok again
