wow! some were saying this would happen as it's a great and easy video editor. I wanted to purchase it myself.I guess like "John Wick," the Video Editor CapCut has been declared excommunicado…

Although DaVinci Resolve does so much more, you can download the free version and just use it for editing and adding sound to a timeline.Well there goes my simple free editing program. Any suggestion as to what free; (I know, I'm cheap) program to use now. I don't need a fancy program, just one like CapCut that I can add a start/stop and some background sound.
I d/l DaVinci Resolve and imported a couple of videos. One from my drone in 4k, the other from my Canon EOS camera. Bother were rejected saying it does not support this video format. Well that was the end of DR. 98% of my videos are from my P4P and Mavic Pro. Did not make sense. Will continue with CatCut which still works fine.Although DaVinci Resolve does so much more, you can download the free version and just use it for editing and adding sound to a timeline.
What computer are you using? I believe the free version of DR on a windows machine doesn't support the H.265 codec for whatever reason. I have all Macs so don't have that issue. I've shot H.265 , H.264, and various formats and haven't had a problem.I d/l DaVinci Resolve and imported a couple of videos. One from my drone in 4k, the other from my Canon EOS camera. I also use OpenShot and there are Great tutorials on YouTube for it, but there is no built in music. You will have to provide your own source…Any suggestion as to what free

I also use LightCut on my Galaxy A8 (10"screen), I also fly using my Galaxy S2 (8-inch) and my Motorola Smart phone when I am just puttering abut, and I do not know how anyone, save Superman, can edit using just their phone…I would look at DJI's LightCut app too.

I have vision issues and I prefer the larger image on my PC and we know DJI does not have nor intend to release a PC version… I had a friend use an Android Emulator with LightCUt and it was not pretty…
I kind of cheat LightCut. I often just edit a short video, but use LightCut as has it very extensive audio library. I attach a piece of music to the video, and export it out and then use that video to carry the audio, and then I use OpenShot to separate the audio from the video and use just the audio… I like Light Cut but my eyes do not…
