Tile Slim for recovery?

So I like to push my mavic 2 pro to the max distance, Im considering buying a tile slim to attach it to the drone in the event it dosent come home one day. Dose this seem like a resonable thing to do or is ther another better product for drone recovery?

Yes, hands down Marco Polo, 2mile range finder. However it come at a premium price though. Also, loc8tor is decent.

The Tile Slim is a Bluetooth tracker that has a max range of 100 feet. That means you'd need some other means to be able to get within at least 100 feet of the Mavic in order to start tracking it down.

If you want to be able to track your Mavic from further away, a GPS tracker like the Trackimo or radio tracker like the Marco Polo would be a better choice. You can find some other commonly used trackers here.

Tile is a great little item tracker. Not only will it not burden the drone, but it will also ensure its safety within a certain range. I have just started using Tile, and for now, there is no problem.
