Total Lunar Eclipse

There is a blue-moon, total lunar eclipse at the end of the month. The visible eclipse ends just after 6 am in Los Angeles while sunrise isn't until close to 7 am. Thoughts on how to get drone footage of the event without breaking any laws? I've not studied how long before the sun breaks the horizon it becomes light-ish outside. Since there are some experienced photographers here, I thought they might know.
