Trouble starting Course Lock

Hey folks—I'm eager to try Course Lock mode on my Mavic Pro, but when I invoke the mode, I can't get past the attached message. No matter how I adjust aircraft position, I can't get to a confirmation screen. Any suggestions?

I'm located about 4 miles from an airport (SJC) & thus have to acknowledge being in an Enhanced Warning Zone. Could that be the problem?

PS—In case it's useful for others who might search for related tips in the future, I'll note that the message says "Adjust aircraft heading before using Course Lock. Aircraft is in Free Mode. Control the aircraft as indicated above. [Reset Direction.]"
