Just a heads up.
Was flying the other day over some fishing lakes.
Noticed on the monitor it was raining.
Drone was a few hundred metres away.
Almost instantly rain started to hit me.
Pressed rth.
Maximum 4 minutes from realising it was raining to me having the drone back.
Took the battery off and was amazed at the amount of water in the battery compartment.
Was not heavy rain either.

Went home and ordered waterproof skin from phantom rain website.
Haven't got them yet but all research says they are great..
At just under £100 it seems to be expensive but seeing that water inside the drone in my opinion it's a worthwhile purchase.
Will give a brutally honest review on them after giving them a good try.

Cheers Mel

Hope you didn’t sustain any damage due to the water
Don't get me wrong
It wasn't flooded or even soaking wet
Just visible signs of water ingres.
Dried it instantly with paper towel.
Put drone and battery in footwell with heater gently blowing while driving home.
Been out twice since.
Thankfully no issues
