I am terrified to fly over people, even if its just for a quick moment.
But since we are on the topic, I thought this was a cool study that examines how much damage a drone could do to the body.

To summarize some of the points - a fatal injury from a drone is obviously highly unlikely at this point in time.
They compared drones to debris of similar mass and found that the construction of a drone can help mitigate the damage by adsorbing a good bit of the energy.
Definitely need to have rules and even design guidelines in place to minimize the risk especially as we move into having more commercial drones above carrying payloads.

What Happens When a Drone Crashes Into Your Face?
An 18-month-long study attempts to find out.
