Where to buy standard batts?

Where can I buy standard non plus DJI M5P batteries? Cant find them.
Better question is why on earth would you want them???
They still broadcast RID and you still have to register as a drone pilot while flying with them in the U.S., because the drone is still over 250g, even with the standard battery.

Unless you are going to be flying in the EU, where they are readily available, because the Plus battery is not sold there, don't waste your money! Even then, buy them once you get there!

Like many of the DJI drones available today, most of what's available is being sold by international sellers who either aren't well know or don't have a strong track record.

With that said, here are some places where you can find Mini 5 Pro batteries (regular or plus):

If you're that invested in reducing the weight: buy the Japanese spec batteries for the mini 5 pro.... They're a lesser capacity and lighter Japanese Battery Options

Standard Intelligent Flight Battery2400~20036
Intelligent Flight Battery Plus3000~25052
Japanese Version Battery1100~15018

102_store on ebay sells refurbished and gets plenty of good feedback. I ordered one he advertises as:
DJI Intelligent Flight Battery for Mini 4 Pro-Certified Refurbished and the specs:
Weight: Approx. 77.9 g
Capacity: 2590 mAh

I received one weighing 82.07g labeled as 2453mAh. Some of the less than positive feedback reports similar with the seller responding for it to be returned if not satisfactory.
His image of the label in the advertisement is not the same as shipped. So heads up on this seller.

With all the debate and mixed results on the RID being enabled all the time after using a + battery even with standard weight batteries I'll be returning it.

Same pain man, I wont return mine rather, I will be trying to found a way to shut off the RID on standard batts since aircraft is below 250g, its ok for me to fly without it.

Good luck with that.
All the foreign hacker sites (and modders) have been trying to do that since RID was first implemented on DJI drones. You would be the first to succeed, and could make a fortune by selling them the hack. It would be illegal to sell it in the U.S. for drones that require RID.

THATS INCREDIBLLY STUPID.
DJI's RID broadcast algorithm is not based upon weighing the drone. It is based upon detecting a battery that tells it not to run the RID algorithm. Unfortunately, DJI decided against preventing RID on any battery in the Mini 5 Pro, even though they clearly originally intended to. The production drone just got too fat to meet its lightweight fighting class! Hence, DQ'd!

Which US law requires RID to be built into drones flown in the US?

Sure, some people might use a hack like that to fly illegally, but there's nothing inherently illegal about it in general.
