Why Mini 3 Pro beats Air2S 4K image quality

If your current drones are “fine”, know that mini 3 pro is “vastly superior” in that regard
lol.here we go again, how can you possibly know how the mini 3 pro is going to be.
I hope it is vastly superior.
But you also might be living in a fantasy world,do you have a crystal ball.
If your using the nano+ to base your observations on ,that is a big mistake.
Just because the camera specks seem similar it does not mean they will be
the same.Even you should have enough common sense to figure that one out.
It kinda would make some sense to wait for the release, and user reviews to start
coming in,before making bogus and false statements.
Done.

The mavic line and mini are hampered by an old, obsolete design where the actual airframe ‘roof’ is obstructing the gimbal, leading to props in shot or horizon tilting down when moving forward.

3 pro does not have this issue because, for the first time in DJI history, the drone is built around the gimbal

you and some other members might not posses the ability to see, nor understand this concept, however, every review video is going to mention it

i am not saying the camera is better, I am saying the entire product is better. The top speed is the only thing the old drones have over 3 pro, and that is only if you can handle props in the shot and or the horizon tilted down

Is this forum always like this?

F1.7 @ 24mm suggest good low light performance, the feature you've all overlooked if true is Dual Native ISO. Should be a very capable sub 250g drone for low light photography.

Anyway, high all.

Dual native iso means better dynamic range, correct?
with the quad bayer configuration that means never before seen 12MP stills

but there is always denial before the next best new thing comes out.

people would rather have a bigger sensor compared to a better sensor LOL

A side effect can be increased dynamic range, but it's intended to increase ISO without adding noise, it does this by adding a second circuit to the sensor tuned to a higher ISO. Usually, you would tune the sensor to ISO 100 and use gain to increase signal in poor light (Higher ISO), Dual Native gives you the option to switch to the second tuned higher ISO to reduce noise.

As for never seen before 12mp, that's a flat no, DJI doesn't make sensors, so the sensor will be in another device already, speculation is, it's the same as iPhone, which would be promising.

All speculation though.

Never before seen in a sub-2500 dollar flying DJI product then? :p

There is no way to know for sure that it is better yet,as this is a new design.
Oh we fully understand the concept. One more time that's another taken insult
Your the one fabricating things, why not wait for the product to be released to the
public, then we can all see what it can do.Then you can run wild in your fantasy world
with whatever you want to do.Kinda makes sense doesn't it.But oh wait myself and
others probably would not understand that concept.

I interpreted your refusal to accept it as not understanding it, apologies!

@test2000Anafi & @Wreckhunter you two want to have a go at each other do it in a message not in this thread.
Continue and you will not like the results.
No more.

No reason to keep it around aside from ADS-B and max top speed, maybe?
Why would you expect the Air2S to be retired before there is a replacement? It's still and excellent drone and still sells extremely well. Why would they remove it just because they have a new Mini?

More efficient, more capable in important areas, less parts, smaller packaging so less transport costs, and so on
